We collect this information when you register on our platform, fill out a form, or otherwise interact with our services.

• Ensure platform security and fraud prevention

We process your data based on your consent or as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.   We may transfer and store your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), and Switzerland, including in the United States  When we do so, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.  You may request more information about these safeguards or obtain a copy by contacting us at info@borrowd.us.

Children

The website is not directed toward children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information (as that term is defined by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, or “COPPA”) from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected personal information from children, please contact us as set out in the Contact Us section below.  We will delete the personal information in accordance with COPPA.

Data Storage

Your information is stored securely and only accessible to the Borrow’d core team.  We retain your personal information as long as necessary for beta-related communication or until you request its removal.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
